Besides going to beaches, my favorite vacations are also going skiing, guess I like both being really hot and really cold? I love sliding down on my skis, and feeling the fresh air of the montains on my face. I went skiing with a group of friends to one of the most famous spots in France, Val Thorens and had an amazing week with them. Hope you don’t get too cold looking at these photos!
Another spot I had to stop by during my Southern Spain road trip was la Alhambra in Granada. This palace and fortress complex located in Andalusia is absolutely breathtaking, its unique Arabic influence makes it an architectural gem. Located in the heights of the city, it overlooks Granada and offers beautiful views. Let me take you around this treasure of Arabic architecture with some of these pictures.
First post traveling in Spain. That is actually funny because I am half Spanish. Crazy none of the previous posts were about my second home. Well, let’s start with this one. A summer, a few years ago, we decided to drive down and visit Andalusia, southern Spain where I had never traveled to. A gem of the Mediterranean sea. Corsica is one of my favorite islands I have been to in the Mediterranean, but also, besides that, I place that has a special place in my heart. I have very good memories there, as I was able to sail around the island twice. A good breath of fresh air while on a boat is always a good way to get away and relax, far from everything. I am on a break for two weeks, and in this very weird situation of a pandemic, looking through this pictures made me remember how much I loved to travel all around, without ever worrying. I remember this trip with, I guess happiness and sadness at the same time. But like me, these pictures might allow you to escape for a little bit.
