I am so happy I got the opportunity to study abroad for my last year of high school. I spent a year in a beautiful place, the North of Georgia. I went to a boarding school called Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School, a school surrounded by the mountains. I had always lived in a city, and I think it has been an incredible experience to discover a complete different background. Here are some pictures of my year spent abroad…
Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School, GA, USA.
Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School is a small, private college preparatory school located in Rabun County, Georgia, United States, in the Appalachian Mountains. Since 1903, the school has inspired its students to grow in character, intellect, and spirit. The school is proud to have over 50 countries and 15 states represented by its community. I have myself made strong relationships with amazing people that I know are friends that will remain for life. Rabun Gap has a beautiful campus, very big and green. I miss this place everyday!

There are a lot of trails to go out to around campus, and in general in the area. In fact, I was located right by the border with North and South Carolina. I got to go on trails in those 3 states. The views are absolutely breathtaking! Here are some of them.
